'Musicians of the Sun' is an ancient tale from the mythology of the Aztecs, the powerful people who dominated central Mexico from the 14th to the 16th centuries. In it the all-powerful Lord of the Night looks down upon a colorless, silent world. He commands the Wind to fly through the sky and to challenge the mighty warrior Sun. The ensuing battle is the dramatic core of the story. Wind rescues the four celestial musicians imprisoned in the House of the Sun and becomes a hero in the process and his victory fills the world with music and color.
