If your best friend was sad would you be sad too?
In this touching and loving story a little girl learns about the responsibilities of friendship. Charlie the cat can't move to the city with her. There would be no garden and lots of traffic and Charlie would be frightened. But if the little girl lets Charlie stay in the countryside without her, how can they still be best friends? She must find a way, and soon realises that some things are too special to fade away.
