My Word Is My Bond is a history of some of the oldest living Chicago Board of Trade members, as told by the members themselves. It includes stories of the most influential members who have shaped the exchange’s history inside the trading pits and beyond. The book is part of the exchange’s effort to document its history as markets have converted from open outcry to electronic trading, just before its merger with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
