Nearamnew is the name of the artwork which is integrated into the very fabric of Federation Squares' 500,000+ cobblestones of variegated Kimberley Sandstone.

Between 1998 and 2002 writer/artist Paul Carter and Lab Architecture collaborated in creating this work which represents a new vision of public art and its role in urban design. 'Mythform' is the story of how Nearamnew was conceived and realised. It reproduces the stories that have been woven into the plaza, explains their origin and how they have been turned into 'concrete poems'.
