The Nature Kids 1 2 3 of Australian wildlife is designed to introduce children to the numbers from one to twenty, their names in words and their shapes in numerals. And the introductions are performed by Australian animals in photographs so that children can meet some favourite Australians and some they might not have encountered before. The text is simple, but embedded in it is alliteration with the animal's name.
