It's 2025 and the Internet is an immensely powerful global force which must be policed by Net Force to prevent computer terrorists from sabotaging it. A key resource for the Net Force are the Net Force Explorers, a youth auxiliary of computer whizz-kids who have come through the toughest of training programmes.
When Captain James Winters of Net Force is accused of blowing up the newly-released mobster responsible for murdering his wife, his Net Force Explorers team simply cannot believe it.
