Every part of New Zealand can boast one or more unique landmarks from the surreal but spectacular elevated mounds of sand dunes beside the Hokianga Harbour in the Far North right down to Southland's sombre yet arrestingly beautiful Mitre Peak. In between there are buildings, bridges and towers, and mountains, rivers and lakes, as well as larger-than-life icons that appear in some of New Zealand's provincial towns including Paeroa's giant L&P bottle, Ohakune's mammoth carrot and Gore's enormous trout.
The most striking examples in each region are beautifully represented here by one of New Zealand's most talented outdoor photographers.
