With influences from Russian folklore, this Christmas story tells of a quiet and gentle mountain man named Nicholi, who builds a snow sculpture for a winter carnival. The village children are enchanted with his lifelike reindeer and sleigh - and wonderfully surprised when the completed sculpture comes to life and takes them for a magical ride high above the earth! But Nicholi must return to the mountains in the end, where he mysteriously melts back into the snow along with his sleigh and reindeer. Will Nicholi return next Christmas?
