A Sonora Blair Investigation.
When fifteen year old Joelle Chauncey and the horse she is riding go missing, leaving blood and a discarded riding boot at the scene of the crime, homicide cop Sonora Blair is called in from downtown Cincinnati. Searching for a motive, she must first establish who was the target - the girl or the horse.
As events escalate at the riding stable, Sonora detects an eerie and unsettling presence. A killer who will lead her down a bizarre path of good and evil and dark compulsions, proving fear can be the most dangerous enemy of all.
