Tim Cornish, a creative writing student, sits composing a confession - the story of a crime committed for love: a crime that may never be discovered, that began when he first met Ivo, and felt compelled to kiss him... Set in Alaska and Suffolk, the story also involves Ivo's sister Isabel - both brother and sister have a sexual relationship with Tim. When Ivo is left for dead on an Arctic island, the way seems clear for Tim and Isabel. But nothing plays itself out in the way one might expect.
