Nog hates being a Nag bird. He hates his big yellow beak and his stupid yellow wings – but most of all he hates his enormous yellow feet. Nog wants to be a Tweetzie bird – tall and slim and elegant.
One day, Nog finds a shell on a beach. The shell gives Nog a fantastic idea. He walks up the stream, past the village, through the jungle where the giant Jubly plants grow, deep into the Spiniky tree forest.
What is Nog up to? And will he be able to escape the Nag birds worst enemy, the deadly Squonky cat?
