- Parts of speech to which the word belongs, eg noun, verb etc.
- Inflected forms - such as the past tense, past participle, present tense etc.
- Definitions - very brief, to orient the player in a general way to a single meaning of the word.
- Lists of undefined words which use the prefix re- or un-.
Because dictionaries have different standards for selecting entries, several current desk dictionaries were consulted in preparing the list of main entries to ensure a wider range of entries than any single dictionary of that kind offers. With over 3,000 new entries, no other dictionary includes all the two to eight letter words you will find in this edition.
