Fonda Raine lives for one thing: killing Eric Aruda. Eric is one of the Offspring, a group of rogue outlaws with special powers she has spent months training to kill. Though Eric's pyrokenisis is perhaps the deadliest of the Offspring's powers, Fonda has her own secret power that rivals his -- with her astral projection she can be in two places at once.
Eric Aruda thought he'd seen the last of the evil FBI agent and his minions who have been after him, his sister, and the rest of the Offspring -- all victims of a secret government project that caused their parents to give birth to children with genetic mutuations that caused "special" supernatural abilities. But he has starting having visions of one of the government operatives -- it's almost as if she's in the room with him. It would be totally hot if she wasn't trying to kill him...
But when the two finally meet face to face, an assassin tries to take them both out. Now, two adversaries must go on the run together, bound by hatred, drawn by passion, and hunted by a vicious and powerful enemy.
