When Hugh Lunn published 'Over The Top With Jim', he didn't know that within a year the book would be part of publishing history - and that he'd be onstage around Australia, contributing to one of Australia's best-loved radio programmes, 'Australia All Over', broadcast nationally on ABC radio.
The book's serialisation on the programme was a huge hit with listeners, and brought all sorts of people out of the woodwork - even Brother Basher, who declared: "I'm gonna come around and rock your roof". And it brought Hugh in contact with people who had a real passion for Australia language, stories and songs - and an unquenchable passion for sharing them.
Being on the road to anywhere was an experience that was gruelling, unpredictable, even inspirational - and Hugh wouldn't have missed it for quids.
