A romantic, comedy fairytale.
In 'Only In America', an inadvertent chain of events conspire to catapult a lovable duo to incredibly triumphant heights. The escapades of the characters inspire a script, which captures the imagination of an American studio boss and becomes their fame and fortune.
Juliet Frost, a thirty-five-year old reception manager divorcee has dreams of becoming a professional writer. Johnson, her best friend, is a black motor cycle courier whose bizarre life inspires most of Juliet's fiction. Johnson is New York bound to hand deliver some documents to a Wall Street bank. Upgraded to first class he finds himself sitting next to Jerry Willenheim, the CEO of Warner Brothers.
Johnson has promised to read Juliet's script, but somehow it gets mixed up with the six others that Willenheim has to choose from. Of course Willenheim loves Juliet's script and when he gets back to LA tells an assembly that this script is the only one he wants to proceed with. The hunt is on, but Juliet has retained her married name for her writing and they can't find her.
In walks Mitch Carmichael, Head of Development at Warner. It is his mission to find the writer of this amazing script. He journey's to England to begin his search. With hilarious consequences and a porn script mix up, he is Prince Charming trying to find the script to fit his Cinderella.
