AGES: 0 to 4 AUTHOR: Terry Catasús Jennings, a Cuban American writer, immigrated to the United States at age twelve after her father was jailed in Cuba by Castro's government. Her goal in life is to lead us to embrace our common humanity (and sing the praises of Cuban food!). Marla Cruz Linares is a Cuban illustrator and graphic designer who divides her life between Cuba, Portugal, and Italy. She is passionate about editorial design and the many possibilities that illustration has in any type of project.
