Out of Range

Six years ago in Uzbekistan, journalist Charlie Davis was wounded when the government fired on a group of protestors he was covering on assignment. He and he pregnant wife, Julie, barely escaped with their lives. Now, Charlie and Julie have traded globe-trotting adventure for cushy, suburban comfort. But Charlie, a political reporter for the Los Angeles Times, cannot forget that brush with death, memories that will suddenly become all too real once again.
