Pattan finds an ailing flower and decides to plant it near his hut and nurture it. To Pattan's surprise the flower changes into a magnificent pumpkin and grows until it reaches the summit of the mountain.
When a terrifying storm arrives and tragedy threatens, the pumpkin and Pattan's ingenuity lead to a rescue plan for the whole village.
