Oscar Wilde's only novel, first published in 1890, is a brilliant puzzle, intended to tease convention minds with its exploration of the myriad interrelationships between art, life, and consequence. From its provocative preface, challenging the reader to believe in "art for art's sake", to its sensational conclusion, the book explores the nature of sin through the tale of a young man who sells his soul for a lifetime of beauty.

Penny Dreadful is a John Logan / Sam Mendes-produced horror drama set in Victorian London and features characters such as Frankenstein and Dracula. It stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and Timothy Dalton. It’s all shot in London and some of the legendary characters who appear give this concept great potential to run as an ongoing series. It’s a fresh piece of drama and the quality of the trailer and rushes look terrific. It’s beautifully shot, with strong performances and it will be a major series for Fox.
