The 18th edition of the PhotoEspana festival is monographically devoted to Latin America photography. Aware that the scope and historical, cultural and creative variety of such a large region makes an encyclopaedic approach imperative, the festival has offered a platform that spotlights the confluences, bifurcations and contrasts of photography on this continent. The exhibition programme analyses the development and complexity of Latin American photography from its origins until today by gathering transversal visions and thematic and contextualising proposals. The exhibitions this year feature works by Julio Zadik, Lola Alvarez Bravo, Inaki Domingo, Korda and Luis Gonzalez Palma, along with Unveil and Detonate and Latin America is a Town to the South of the United States of America.
