Illustrated by Heath Mackenzie.
Tilda is lonely. Her friend, Nat, fell out of a tree Tilda was making her climb and they haven't spoken since. Tilda thinks the fall was all Nat's fault for being too slow-moving and that a pet monkey would be a much better companion than Nat anyway. So when Pop Hooper offers Tilda Hoodini the monkey as a pet, she is delighted. But when Hoodini runs away, Pop asks Tilda to take care of Pickle the turtle overnight whilst he retrieves the monkey. Can headstrong, impatient Tilda cope alone with a slow-moving turtle? And is there any way Pickle can bring Nat and Tilda back together?
