Architect Praditchaya Singharaj is also a photographer of great merit. The images that appear in this book are black-and-white studies of scenery in the heart of Bangkok and Ayutthaya, both cities being busy and densely populated, cities that are filled with people and congested with traffic. It is extremely difficult to find peace and solitude anywhere in Bangkok and Ayutthaya, and yet Praditchya has been able to select quiet and beautiful corners and, using his exceptional photographic angles, angles that other people don't normally see, as well as a timing that is different from others, he has succeeded in capturing images of great beauty. AUTHOR: Praditchya Singharaj was born in Bangkok in 1964. He completed his secondary education at Kasetsart university laboratory School, high school education at Triamudom Suksa School and subsequently obtained a bachelor degree in Architecture (with honours) from Chulalongkorn university. He currently holds the position of design director of Plan Associates company limited.
