lacks any real insight
Having been excited by the prospect of some useful insight into the challenges of project governance, I was deeply disappointed by what is a simplisitic approach. While there are examples provided that are supposed to reflect reality, they are flimsy at best.
The concept of seperating roles for project governance, organisational governance and stakeholder management creates a situation where the project becomes an end in itself. There is no point in having a project that doesn't fit within the organisational requirements or the stakeholder expectations.
