What do Book Bands mean?
Many reading schemes use coloured book bands to indicate the level of their books. Using book bands helps children, parents and teachers know which books are suitable to read at each stage of the child's reading journey

Following on from the Pink Bands, learners are developing their confidence to tackle slightly longer sentences. These books have 1-2 one-line sentences per page.
