This new edition will be fully updated to reflect the recent changes to the Merchant Navy syllabus and current pathways to a sea-going engineering career. The techniques and methods of ship’s construction are continually changing especially as materials science develops at a rapid pace. Reeds Vol 5 needs to be updated to keep pace with these developments.
