Return of the Viscount

Consumed by guilt over his commanding officer's death, Viscount Michael Addison promises to care for the man's family. When he sends a letter to the officer's daughter, Lady Cecilia Malory, offering any help, she asks for a proxy marriage, so she can access her own fortune to help the estate. Cecilia believes Michael to be as old as her father, and is thus surprised when her "husband" appears at her door months later, a young, vibrant man, if wounded. Both parties harbour secrets which neither are eager to reveal. When accidents begin to happen, Cecilia suspects that Michael is the culprit. As they both try to unravel the mystery threatening to engulf them, they must face the danger lurking around every corner. And as they near closer to the truth, the two succumb to the most mysterious danger of all - love.
