Rex is the accidental leader of four everyday plasticene dogs - Bad Bob, Vince and Wendy - who live together and watch telly and squabble a lot. At his best Rex holds the gang together and does some quite useful things. At his worst he can be a bit of a smart arse...or as Wendy would have it, "lard arse". But despite his bourgeois tendencies and domestic ineptitude, Rex is a caring leader whom the others love, trust and abuse.
