Riptide

Becca Matlock is at the top of her profession as the senior speechwriter for New York's popular governor. Then she receives the first of a series of deadly phone calls which threaten both her own life and the governor's The calls become more and more menacing, but the police become less and less supportive and eventually stop believing Becca.

And then the governor is shot.

Becca flees for the safety of coastal Maine. Riptide, the home of a college friend, is her only sanctuary but soon she finds herself at even greater risk . . .
