Roary, Loada and the gang are enjoying an outing to the beach, while Big Chris takes delivery of some shiny new engine parts. However, naughty Flash has 'borrowed' some engine parts to make himself a jet-propelled surfboard. When Loada becomes stuck in the sand, with the tide fast coming in, all of the gang's pulling and pushing won't shift him...until another use for Flash's surfboard is discovered.
