A Room With A View is written by Ponghtep Saulku, the founder and design director of August Design Consultant. The books consists of a compilation of records and sketches of hotel rooms from around the world, drawn by hand over the many decades he has travelled. They images provide insights into the development of hotel design in recent years from a time when ?design' was not always a priority for the hotel industry to the present, when it is often elevated as the top selling point when advertising rooms to the public. All over the world today we find designer hotels which offer the weary traveller, not just a place to rest their head for the night, but a comfortable and pleasant stay in a hotel which have been designed by architects of note.
