It seems very simple to Ralph - all he has to do is win the Most Talented Pet competition at Sarah's school and the supersonic skateboard prize is his. So when Sarah gloomily points out that his only talents are watching TV and being rotten, he is determined to prove her wrong . . . in his own special way!
Ralph's successful plan to stop oh-so-perfect cousin Percy from interfering has unexpected results later on. When he saves Percy from a certain roadside squishing, Ralph gains himself a slave for life. What sounds like a dream come true, soon turns into Ralph's worst nightmare!
