In this episode-based storybook, Reg is unhappy because he can't join in the Rubbadubbers' game in the bath - water makes him go rusty. If only I could go underwater, he says, and his wish is granted! The Rubbadubbers are transported to a magical undersea world.
Tubb and Sploshy are the king and queen of an underwater palace made of sponges and the jewellery box becomes a treasure chest which Reg has to guard from Finbar, the monster. When Reg says the words "If only . . ." once again, the fantasy is over and the Rubbadubbers find themselves back in the bathroom. Then it's time for 'Bathtime Scramble' when the Rubbadubbers become bathroom toys once again.

The series follows the exploits of a group of bath toys, whose lively minds take them on incredible imaginary journeys.
