Jason Lester should be dead. In his 34 years he has survived more trials, endured more horrors and surmounted more obstacles than would fit in a Hollywood film. After each upset, letdown, and setback Jason has recommitted himself to pursuing his dream of becoming an accomplished athlete, despite his disability. And, in 2008, he became the first person with a disability to complete the Ultraman (a double Ironman). With the use of only three limbs he biked, swam, and rode 320 miles to the finish line to set a world record.
In the year leading up to the 2008 Ultraman competition, Jason raced in three Ironman competitions, including the Ironman World Championships, represented the USA in the Triathlon World Championships, and completed Ultraman Canada. It was in realizing God's presence in his life, that Jason was able to overcome each obstacle, and keep training and pushing forward with his eye on the goal.
In Running on Faith, Jason shares the ten lessons that led him to achieve his dreams and find his calling. Jason lives these lessons every day, doing everything to the best of his ability, with intense drive and passion. Providing readers with the tools to overcome the adversity they may face and pursue their passion, Running On Faith will be a practical and inspirational guide to never giving up so you can win in the game of life.
