TREATS . . . OR TRICKS?
It's Halloween, and Pine Hollow Stables is getting some special visitors - a group of city kids. The Saddle Club girls are planning a treasure hunt and trick-or-treating for the children. Best of all, Stevie Lake's old school chum, Dinah, has come to help. Things go awry when it becomes clear that Dinah and Lisa don't like each other. Lisa suspects Dinah of flirting with Stevie's boyfriend. Even worse, Stevie's beginning to think that the stable is haunted. Who's playing tricks at Pine Hollow?
TO CATCH A THIEF
A Mystery Weekend has been planned at Pine Hollow Stables. The Saddle Club will spend their days uncovering clues during long trail rides. At night the girls will have slumber parties in the hayloft. What a perfect autumn adventure! Then they learn there's a tack thief in their town. Stevie, Carole and Lisa start uncovering clues that might not be part of the Mystery Weekend. Are they on the trail of a real criminal?
