By far the best novel by Nicholas Sparks, Safe Haven takes on the themes of safety and being safe as you fall in love. You'll find yourself rooting for Katie as the book goes on and her past unfolds. This book also deals with the difficult topic of religion and how it can shape our lives. Read this book before you see the movie or after, either way you won't regret it. - Jordanna (QBD)

Safe Haven
Nicholas Sparks has created a world that combines both the everyday struggles that people have to go through on a daily basis and a sense of fantasy and mystery that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats and leaves them wanting more. The Author has gradually built up the story that when it hits the climax and reveals the plot twist leaves the reader questioning what had really happened in the book. He does the same with character profiles slowly giving the reader aspects of the characters past leaving them to put all the pieces together. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to break away from fantasy and unrealistic books, yet want to keep that sense of this cant be real while they read. Reviewed by Ashley Weis
