Saving Lucas Biggs

Thirteen-year-old Margaret is shattered when her father is unfairly sentenced to death for a crime he didn’t commit. She is determined to help him, even though the cruel judge, Lucas Biggs, won’t change his mind. But Margaret’s family has a secret-they can travel through time. Even though Margaret’s father has forbidden her from using this power, Margaret knows it’s the only way to stop his death. Margaret travels back in time and with the help of Josh (her best friend’s grandfather) tries to prevent the chain of events that caused a young Lucas Biggs to transform into the corrupt, jaded man he is in 2014.

Co-written by husband and wife team Marisa de los Santos and David Teague and told in alternating chapters between Margaret and Josh, this heart-warming story shows that sometimes the forces of good need a little extra help to triumph over the forces of evil.
