Artist Augie Silver seems to make more money the less he does. He is a man who takes friendship seriously and above all is especially generous with his paintings.
When Augie disappears, believed dead in a boating accident, his friends realise the value of his original work. But then he is found and revived by some Cuban fishermen. Augie's friends see a chance to make a killing . . . literally.
Will any of them choose loyalty over deceit? Friendship over greed?
