The ex-Yugoslav region of Serbia is experiencing a re- launch of tourism that has opened up the country. This new edition leads the field in providing fresh information with a wide-ranging appeal for business visitors, adventure travellers and those with art and history interests. Serbia covers fundamentals such as getting there (by plane, international train and the trans-European motorway), a range of local travel options, including cycling, driving and pleasure railway tours, and accommodation for all budgets and styles. As a prime destination for winter sports, mountain resorts and a range of health spas in spectacular settings are also covered. Laurence Mitchell has travelled widely on five continents.
