Slow Burn

Slow Burn is a powerful account of how Danny Fenton tries to reclaim his mother's story, an account of how he tried to give meaning to a life he feels has been unjustly stolen. Motivated by grief and anger, Danny resorts to ever more desperate acts of protest and, finally, to an open declaration of war. In letters, journals, newspaper reports and interviews, we follow Danny and his sister Cath on a journey which carries us far beyond the simple idea of payback and into the realms of the green warrior.
