Chester is a baby Nile crocodile who is a bit bored. Then he discovers it’s lots of fun snapping his big jaws at the creatures around him. He snaps until there’s nothing left to snap. He finally finds another animal to snap at—until it snaps back at him! Chester swims home to his mother as fast as he can!
This is a perfect story for the very young with repetitive, minimal text and bright primary colours through 3D paper sculptures used as illustrations. The different animals in the book will provide a springboard for lots of discussion.
