A second adventure about charming, mischievous Hazel Green.
When Mr Petrusca, the fishmonger, finds his prize lobsters stolen, he is much more upset than Hazel would ever have imagined. But then she discovers that the thief left a note, which Mr Petrusca is unable to read, and she begins to understand his shame. The note is written in code, and it takes all Hazel's ingenuity - not to mention some clear, logical thinking from her mathematical friend, the Yak - to crack the code, solve the mystery of the lobster theft and then help Mr Petrusca learn to read.
