New Covent Garden Soup Company.
Our first book contained just over 100 of our favourite soups. A few years and many hundreds of new recipes later, we have many more we're eager to share.
This time we have not stopped at just soups. Stocks and breads are a natural addition, but we have also included all those other things that add a new layer of flavour, texture, substance and colour. A dollop of mashed potato, a sweet and tangy salsa, a flavoured dumpling - they all give a completely new dimension to a soup.
Finally, we could not resist introducing our latest passion - beans. Some recipes are meals in themselves, some are to be eaten as part of a meal, but all have been chosen because we believe they are really delicious.
The recipes are not exotic and sophisticated - some are exquisite in their sheer simplicty. We hope you like them, too.
