As soon as Laura climbs on to the unicorn's back she is hurled into a wild and magical world. There she meets the Old Woman and the Wild Ones; Sloe, Fastfoot, Woodfetch, Flight and Sideman. Only with Laura as their leader can Spellhorn and the Wild Ones reach the safety of the Bright Wilderness. But can Laura forget her family and her best friend Sam, or Queenie her dog? Will she ever return to her own world?
