In Book one, War Dragons, Captain Kirk takes Captain Sulu to the Captain's Table for the very first time. Soon they are trading stories, and the two of them take turns telling the tale of a battle they shared, protecting a colony from raids on its shipping by a hostile power. Loosely based on 17th and 18th Spanish and English conflicts, this tale of space will, like all the Captain's Table books, have a sense of high adventure in space.
