When 15 year-old Kathy Morgan tampers with the controls of a strange-looking boat, a camping holiday with her family becomes a wild adventure through parallel worlds.
Transported to the world of the Spellbinders, Kathy and Mek, the inventor of the trans-dimensional boat, are tricked into rescuing Ashka. Kathy's parents and brother Josh also find a way to the Land of the Dragon Lord, only to be captured by a barbarian army attempting to overthrow Sun.
But Ashka is also plotting to depose Sun and rule this world herself. Can Kathy and Josh, two ordinary teenagers, outwit Ashka and save their family from being stranded forever in this mysterious and dangerous world?
