Sniffy the Sniffer Dog failed Sniffer Dog School. His older brothers and sisters were all great sniffers and no-one understands why Sniffy is such a failure. It's because his stomach controls his nose; he sniffs out yummy cake, chocolate and biscuits in no time, and doesn't understand why anyone would want him to find a bag of disgusting plants or fruit.
The only option left for Sniffy is to become someone's pet. His new family are loving; the Mum and three kids think he's the best dog ever, but the father is not so sure. Sniffy is on a mission to impress the father, so that he will let the family keep him. After a shaky start, Sniffy proves that he really is a great sniffer dog after all.
