Stunnos surf adventure is a great little story about a surfing echidna that chooses to go exploring up the coast after arriving at his favourite beach, only to see that it was flat (no surf). On one hand the story is about a surfer catching a wave, on the other, the book is a story about going a little further and getting rewarded for your effort.
The books rhyming narrative, combined with Tina Jacobsons beautiful illustrations make it an engaging and inspiring tale ideal for young children. The use of Australian animals and iconic beach related images makes the book a great tool for educating young children about Australian beachside environment and culture. It is such a happy story with vibrant illustrations.
