Matt is sent to live with his Grandma when his dad serves time in prison. In a new school in the heart of his Dads hometown, Matt faces the challenges of being in a class full of strangers and among people who remember his Dad as a young troublemaker. Matt is sent to a camp at Lake Waikaremoana for problem kids. He goes head to head with bullies but also makes some unexpected friends, including Elsa, a 100-year-old giant long-fin eel. Drama unfolds when Elsas life is threatened when the dam at the lake bursts, and Matt comes to the rescue.
