The Bushland of Sydney and It's Suburbs
Have you taken your bushland for granted? This book describes the impact of Sydney growth on its natural vegetation, from 1788 to the present day. Once all of our bushland was connected, but now as "suburban bush" it frequently remains only as small patches. Many of these areas are now in parks and reserves, but careful management is needed if they are to survive. To help you find out more about the vegetation in your district, the authors examine each of Sydney's 40 local council areas.
