This is a complete course in spoken and written Arabic. If you have never learnt Arabic before, or if you want to improve on existing skills, then 'Teach Yourself Arabic' is for you.

Based on the Council of Europe's Threshold guidelines on language learning, the course contains:

- A section on the verb in Arabic
- A section on Arabic numerals
The cassette has been specially recorded to accompany the book by Arabic native speakers. It contains a pronunciation guide, with exercises; and passages from the book to help you learn to listen to and understand Arabic.
By the end of the course you'll be able to take a fully active part in the everyday life and culture of Arabic-speaking countries.
